A LARGE area of grassland caught on fire yesterday (Sunday) evening.
Firefighters from St Albans were called to the scene in Tyttenhanger Green at around 8pm and found an area of stubble of around 25 metres by 10 metres well alight.
They used a backpack sprayer and fire beaters to put out the blaze, which is being treated as deliberate.
