FIREFIGHTERS attended a blaze near St Albans City Hospital yesterday (August 23).
The fire began in a green space by Oysterfields which is behind the Waverley Road hospital.
It is believed to have been caused by children making a den with hospital rubbish.
The fire crew used a backpack sprayer to put it out shortly after 3.30pm.
