A star line-up, fun attractions and perfect weather all combined to make for a great day out at this year’s Radlett Festival.
An estimated 4,000 people enjoyed performances from local dance and music groups and the UK’s premier mountain bike stunt team Savage Skills.
Model Jilly Johnson, singer Paul Young, Russ Kane, Capital Radio’s Flying Eye and Radio Verulam’s Alexander Bermange lent a helping hand on stage, while children were able to test out a special activities area and climbing wall courtesy of local Scouts. An enlarged Food Court and over 50 stalls were also on offer.
Festival Committee chairman Viv Charrett it was “the best ever” Radlett Festival.
The Radlett Festival is organised each year by a team of local volunteers and any profits are used to make grants to local organisations, especially those involved in youth activities.
