Excrement smeared on the windows of the Farmer’s Boy pub in St Albans, has prompted police to release photos of a man they want to talk to in connection with the incident.
At around 3.20am on Friday, October 2 an unidentified man is alleged to have spread excrement on the windows.
It was only when staff arrived in the morning to open up the pub that they noticed the incident.
Bar manager Ben, said: “It was very strange. A member of staff came in to open up and the first thing they say was that all over the front. Cleaning it off was not a nice job.”
The police are appealing for anyone who recognises the man, or who has information about the incident, to get in touch with the St Albans safer neighbourhood team by calling 101.
