BEAUMONT School pupils entered the school hall with a whoop of excitement as they collected their GCSE results - before congratulating and hugging each other as they shared their results.
Head of Year 11, Ron Osborne, commented: "I'm very proud of all the students and their achievements; they've worked really well as a year group and supported each other through their GCSE courses."
He said the school sent its congratulations and best wishes to all students in their next step into the sixth form or elsewhere.
