HUNDREDS of under-privileged and disabled children were always on the mind of St Albans-based Elvis Shmelvis at a charity event on Sunday afternoon.
Elvis, aka Martyn Dias who lives in Chiswell Green, donned his suit, cape and sunglasses and joined The Cheeky Girls and actors and celebrities to get the youngsters all shook up at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane.
The afternoon was in aid of the London Taxi Drivers’ Fund which devotes its time to treating children to days out in and around the capital.
Martyn said: “I attend the event every year, and every year it’s humbling to see so many disadvantaged kids enjoying my music.”
