A SCHOOL was forced to close yesterday after a leaking roof caused damage to the electrics.
Pupils from Sandridge Primary School, in Woodcock Hill, were unable to go to school yesterday when staff found water leaking into the building,
Firefighters were called at around 8am and confirmed the water was affecting the main electrical switchboard.
The school remained closed throughout the day while an electrician was called in and temporary repairs were made to the roof.
Despite some dampness remaining in the reception area the school will open as usual today.
