STUDENTS at Verulam School have been dubbed “an excellent advert for young people” after bagging top A-level grades.
A record number of students at the St Albans school recorded the top A* and A grades this year.
Headmaster, Paul Ramsey, said: “I am proud that our students’ hard work and commitment has led them to achieve excellent results this year. They are an excellent advert for young people!”
Robert Skipper, head of sixth form at Verulam, was delighted that so many students achieved excellent university places in the most competitive environment ever.
“These results reflect sustained academic study by our students, the commitment of staff and the invaluable support of parents,” he said.
