BOYS at Verulam School achieved record GCSE results today, including a sharp rise in the number of A* and A grades.

Headmaster Paul Ramsey said: “I was delighted to see the boys’ joy at receiving such excellent results this morning. Boys of all abilities have worked really hard over two years to achieve this deserved success.”

Head of Year 11, Pritam Vekaria, said: “These results are a testament to the hard work of the pupils, the dedication of staff and the invaluable support given by parents.”
