A TESTAMENT to hard work and determination was the comment from the head after boys at Verulam School in St Albans achieved GCSE success.

The head, Paul Ramsey, urged the students to join him in thanking parents and staff for all their commitment and support.

Head of Year 11, Mrs Harrison, added: “I was delighted to see so many boys excelling by reaching their potential, especially those boys who reached the highest grades!”
