THERE were smiles and squeals of excitement at Sir John Lawes today as students opened their exam results to find out their final grades.
Overall students were delighted with the outcome of two years of hard work and were starting to look forward to life beyond school. Head girl Tina Zhao, whose 5 A* and A grades meant she had achieved her place at Cambridge, said, “It has been worth all the wait and there’s a great feeling of relief!”
Head of 6th form, Cait Rickard, said: “We are delighted with the students’ excellent results. They are great testimony to the amount of effort they have put in throughout their courses. We wish them every success now in their future careers.”
