THERE was an impressive haul of A* grades as year 11 pupils at St Columba’s College, in St Albans, opened their GCSE results this week.
The number of A* and A grades increased once again this year, with Conor Gray, Jeremy Howarth and Stuart Lane scoring a whopping 10 A* grades each.
Alexander Rossiter and Conor Spicer also recorded nine A* grades each.
David Buxton, headmaster, said: “I am truly delighted by the results the boys have achieved, and recognise the skills of our teaching staff in providing the right environment for boys to thrive and succeed.”
