Each of the nine artworks entered by Sandringham School were selected for the exhibition, with a landscape by Year 13 pupil Eliza Brown winning the particular section.

The exhibition features work by young artists chosen from schools and colleges across the country, aiming to showcase their talent and inspire more young people to enter the arts as a profession.

Headteacher Alan Gray said: “I am delighted that Eliza has won this prestigious award. As a school, we strongly encourage our students to explore creative aspects of the curriculum and see these subjects as being essential to developing cultural appreciation in our society.

“Well done to all the pupils who had artwork displayed and thank you to our team of art teachers who inspire young people to perform so highly.”
