STAFF and ex-pupils of a St Albans school came together to commemorate the lives of three former pupils with a tree planting ceremony last month.

Family members and friends attended to watch three trees planted in memory of Tom Fox, Leach Decent and Cassie McCord, former pupils of Cunningham Hill Junior School.

All three pupils died tragically young and the school wanted to ensure that their memories lived on.

Headteacher Justine Elbourne-Cload, said: “I know our pupils will enjoy playing and sitting under these trees as they grown and the names of these past pupils will be kept alive by future generations.”
