A ST Albans junior school has been ranked as one of the top 100 state primaries in the country.
Cunningham Hill Junior School was listed as 32nd in the Sunday Times top 100 based on a three-year aggregate of End of Key Stage 2 SATs results.
It was the only St Albans primary school listed and the highest ranked of the four Herts schools on the list.
Head Justine Elbourne-Cload welcomed the news of the ranking and said: “We are very proud of our school but SATs results only tell a tiny part of the picture of the wide range of curriculum and extra-curricular activities that our children thrive in.”
