BIG smiles were plastered across the faces of A-level students from St Albans High School for Girls who learned their fate earlier today.
This year another set of record-breaking results show 36 per cent of all grades were at A* and 82 per cent were at A or A*.
A special mention has been given to Tabitha Pinto and Sarah Weeks who both achieved four A*s, and to a further nine students who each achieved three A*s.
Headmistress Rosemary Martin said: “The High School’s reputation for high academic standards and strong pastoral care are realised in these results which are the culmination of excellent teaching and learning in a caring and supportive environment.”
