FOLLOWING last week’s outstanding A Level performances, GCSE students at St Albans High School for Girls did not fail to impress by scoring a record-breaking 89 per cent A*/A grades across 24 subjects.
17 girls in Year 11 achieved a clean sweep of A*grades, whilst every single Year 10 entry in maths, music and French scored A* or A.
Headmistress Rosemary Martin said: “Results like these bear witness to the talent and commitment of both our students and our teachers. I am delighted by the breadth and depth of their achievements.”
