JUBILANT sixth formers from Sandringham School will be heading off to their dream universities after finding out their A-level results.
The St Albans school has revealed another year of record results, with a large number of pupils gaining straight A*s and As in all their subjects and over two thirds achieving A* to B grades.
Four students gained a place at Oxbridge, while many others will be going to one of the top 40 universities in the country. This includes twins Carenza and Perran Harvey who both obtained straight A grades with Carenza studying history at St. Hughes College, Oxford and Perran studying philosophy and mathematics at Bristol University.
Headteacher Alan Gray said: “I am delighted for all the students and incredibly proud of their achievements. These results demonstrate the outstanding effort students have put in to their studies and the high quality of teaching provided by staff at the school. Well done everyone!”
