A record number of students from St Albans School have received offers from Oxbridge.
Nineteen have received offers – 15 from Oxford University and four from Cambridge – in a range of subjects from law to engineering and including languagues, maths, economics and history.
Headmaster Andrew Grant said: “It is a real triumph for the pupils concerned and for the teachers who have taught and prepared them.
“It includes offers for some of the most competitive course in the country.”
