EXCITED cheers from Year 11 students filled the air at Beaumont School in St Albans where record results were obtained.
Many Year 9 students also collected excellent French or German GCSE results and the maths GCSE results for the Year 10s were described as superb.
Head teacher Elizabeth Hitch said: “We are delighted that the very hard work of our students paid off. These were record GCSE results with a higher number of students than ever achieving five good passes including English and maths. They are to to be congratulated on their outstanding achievements.”
