AN OFSTED inspection has given a nursery a real buzz and plenty to celebrate.
Busy Bees, an independent pre-school and nursery in Marshalswick, was graded as outstanding in every aspect of its provision from the quality of teaching to the outcomes for children.
Ofsted inspectors praised the way in which the children thrived because of the care by “exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced staff”, the strong partnership with parents and carers and the potential reached by the children.
Both nursery owner Caroline Upton and manager Jane Sykes said how delighted they were that the exceptional work of the staff had been recognised.
To celebrate the achievement Neil Kately, of sporty fun company for youngsters Mini Medallists whose daughter Holly goes to Busy Bees, hosted a mini medallists sports day in which the children took part in running races, a shot putt with a difference and pitted their wits against a special obstacle course.
At the end of the day, every child received a medal.
