As work progresses on Harpenden Free School’s new building in Victoria Road, different groups of children from the school have been visiting to find out more about the project.

Pupils are currently based in buildings at St Luke’s School in Redbourn, where they have been working on projects based around the new school building.

Year One children have been thinking about how they will get the new site and the impact this will have on the community and the environment, Year Two have been considering the different types of building making up the new site, and Year Three have been creating works of art to depict the new buildings in the style of artists they have been learning about.

Year Three are also learning how to write newspaper reports and Penguin class recently welcomed Herts Advertiser editor Matt Adams to discuss journalism before they write their own articles about the visits to the new school site.
