ECCENTRIC and loveable TV personality Johnny Ball bounced into a Shenley school this week to share the fun of maths with pupils.
The former presenter of 70s TV show Think of a Number was at Manor Lodge School on Ridge Hill, working with classes from Year 3 to Year 6 as part of the school’s focus on independent learning, thinking skills and investigating. Pupils were also stretching their problem-solving muscles as they worked in clinics with Johnny and looked at fun ways to work with numbers.
A spokesperson for the school said that everyone involved had a lot of fun and they hoped to invite Johnny back in the future.
