PICNICKERS and their teddy bears enjoyed a fun-filled day in Harpenden recently.
Harpenden’s fourth annual teddy bears picnic took place in Lydekker Park on Saturday, August 21, when dozens of young guests and their stuffed companions tucked into an al fresco lunch.
A bouncy castle, face painting and two shows performed by Smartie Artie entertained the crowd, which included newcomer to the party Cllr Daniel Chichester-Miles, Town Mayor of Harpenden.
As well as a stuffed belly, every child went home with gifts given out by playschool nursery and Davenport House patient groups.
