WACKY races, maypole dancing and a fancy dress parade were just some of the events at Sauncey Wood Primary school on Saturday as they celebrated their Diamond Jubilee.
Around 500 people attended the 60th birthday celebrations at the school and some former pupils travelled from as far away as Penzance to be part of the next chapter in the school’s history.
The Mayor of Harpenden, Cllr Daniel Chichester-Miles, officially kick-started the event which raised over 4,000.
