A NURSERY is celebrating after receiving the results of a recent Ofsted inspection.
Busy Bees Nursery at Rothamsted Lodge, Harpenden, was awarded a ‘good’ result for their work with children and partnerships with parents.
In particular the nursery won praise for the information provided to parents about their children’s development and the ways in which they are encouraged to be involved with the learning process, including a library for them to take books home to read with their children.
The inspector found that children enjoy their time at the nursery, were provided with a good balance of free choice and adult-led activities, enjoyed nutritious meals and fruit snacks and the staff had a good understanding of their individual needs.
Nursery manager Marcia Brown said: “We are really pleased with the result and feel it is well deserved! All the staff at the nursery work hard, and recognise that the children’s health and safety is of the greatest importance. We value the partnership we have with parents, and will continue in our commitment to ensure that every child’s needs are met by making their interests, safety and happiness central to everything we do.”
