A St Albans day nursery has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.
Grasshoppers Nursery on York Road has received the ranking for the quality of teaching, the effectiveness of the leadership and the behaviour of the children.
Manager Jennifer Neville said: “We couldn’t be more proud or delighted the inspector recognised how ambitious we are for our children, and that she described our relationship with parents as an exceptionally close partnership.
“This teamwork has made our nursery outstanding and we will continue to strive to make it even better.”
The report reads: “Managers have very high expectations and are passionate about providing the highest quality of care for children.”
