ALMOST 50 pupils at Roundwood Park achieved eight A grades or better in their GCSEs today.
Headteacher Alan Henshall praised staff and students for working together to produce results that were some of the best the school had ever had.
He said: “It’s been an extremely successful year for Roundwood Park GCSE results.
“What is perhaps most pleasing, however, is that there were many other personal triumphs of students who reached their full potential and I would congratulate them and their teachers for this outstanding effort. Most of our students are staying on for sixth form but for those who are leaving, we wish them well as they enter the next phase of their lives.”
Mr Henshall said particular congratulations were due to Tamsin Asquith and Kate Hyams who were both awarded ten A* grades.
