One hundred per cent of pupils at St Albans High School for Girls achieved grades between A* and C in their GCSe results.
Breaking this figure down, 99.35 per cent scored all A*-B grades, 92 per cent A*-A grades, and 68 per cent all A*s.
Headmistress Jenny Brown said: “What we celebrate even more than the raft of A*s is building a cohort of grounded, unaffected girls who tackled their exams with due perspective and plenty of fun. The real success here is that girls leave not just with top results, but with enquiring minds and big hearts, to do some good in the world. That’s what we are really proud of.”
