Verulam School pupils celebrated beating their targets in St Albans today as they received their GCSE results.
Headmaster Paul Ramsey said: “I am delighted the boys have surpassed their targets again and that results in English, maths and the sciences are so strong.”
Shaun Perryman, head of Year 11, congratulated all the students on their excellent results.
Saying he was particularly pleased that so many pupils gained the highest A* grades, he added: “These results are testament to the hard work invested by students, staff and parents over the past five years and they should be very proud of their achievements!”
Congratulations also went to Hamza Abdullah, Sam Lachau, James Parker-Mendez, Alex Proudman, Thomas Williamson, Nathan Wooster, Alex Jenkins and Alfie Upjohn-Lee who between them gained 56 A* qualifications.
