Students at St Columba’s College have bucked the national trend on GCSE results day, with an increase in the number of A* grades awarded.
Nineteen students achieved at least 10 A* or A grades, with the top honours going to Henry Bath, Chukwudubem Umeano, Peter Crabtree and Jack Amor who all achieved at least nine A* grades.
Special congratulations to Chukwudubem Umeano, who managed to achieve the maximum mark of 200 out of 200 in his GCSE mathematics papers.
