There were celebrations all round at Sir John Lawes School this morning (Thurs) where students received some of the school’s best ever results.

Twenty five students achieved straight A*/A grades and many more obtained more than 8 A* or A grades among all their results.

Head teacher Claire Robins said: “This is a year group which has faced a lot of challenges over the years and so it is wonderful to see their hard work and support of each other pay off with these excellent results.”

Twins Robin and Austen Fletcher were particularly celebrating after achieving a combined total of 21 A* and A grades between them.
