St Albans High School for Girls welcomed record breaking results this morning, with 98 per cent of students passing papers at A*-B standard.
Sixty-three per cent of pupils gained A* across all subjects; 90 per cent received A*/A and 18 girls got A* grades across the board.
New headmistress Jenny Brown said: “Our students again proved more than equal to the demands of GCSE and IGCSE qualifications. Their outstanding achievements reflect the students’ determination and dedication and the unstinting support and encouragement on the part of teachers and parents.”
