PUPILS at Francis Bacon School, in St Albans, excelled in their GCSE examinations this summer; as the school recorded its highest ever results.
Significant improvements were made in the number of students achieving five or more A* - C grades, including English and maths.
Samuel Libberton put in a brilliant performance, gaining five A* grades. Michael Jones also achieved some fantastic results, scoring 1 A* and five As.
Headteacher, Jacqui Verrall, said: “This is a culmination of years of hard work from everybody at the school. The students should be congratulated on their resilience and the staff are incredibly proud of all the students’ achievements.”
