A RECORD eight students at Beaumont School in St Albans learnt this morning that they had secured highly competitive medicine/veterinary and Oxbridge places.
Nearly all A-level students at the Oakwood Drive school gained places at universities of their choice with the top results being achieved by Elliot Andrews with three A* and two A grades and Imogen Glover and Rebecca Heselton with three A* and one A grades.
International Baccalaureate (IB) students Kim Renfrew and Harriet Brown achieved 40 points each which places them in the top three to four per cent of students globally.
Headteacher, Elizabeth Hitch, said: “Congratulations to all our students for their superb results. They have worked so hard and we wish them all the very best for their futures.”
