NEARLY 50 per cent of pupils at Verulam School in St Albans achieved the top A* to B grades in their A-levels.

MANY delighted pupils at Verulam School in St Albans had plenty to celebrate after achieving the top A* to B grades in their A-levels.

Paul Ramsey, head of the Brampton Road school, said: “I am extremely proud of the results achieved by our pupils in this year’s A-level examinations. Their hard work and commitment over the two years, combined with the dedication of staff and support of parents has enabled them to achieve their goals.

Head of sixth former, Robert Skipper, expressed his delight that so many students had achieved top grades and secured prestigious university places.
