OUTGOING Roundwood School head, Nick Daymond, has praised all his A-level students for their success.

Over 20 students achieved the new A* and A grades in every subject with many students with lower grades also reaching or exceeding their targets.

Mr Daymond, who is moving from the Harpenden school to Parmiter’s in Garston, said: “I want to recognise the life-enhancing skills, talents and qualities developed by our students which don’t get certificated. We are very proud of their academic success but equally heartened by the fact that we have helped to prepare well-rounded and caring individuals for the next phase of their lives and careers.”
