Students at Beaumont School in St Albans bucked the national trend this morning, with record numbers achieving A and A* grades in their A-Levels.
A large number of Year 13 students secured places on top-ranked courses at some of the UK’s most competitive universities.
Beaumont headteacher, Elizabeth Hitch, said: “I am delighted that the hard work and dedication of our students and their teachers has resulted in such outstanding results.
“With the exciting new facilities we will be offering students and the local community over coming months, I am confident that Beaumont will continue to go from strength to strength”.
Ms Hitch added that the recent expansion of Beaumont’s sixth form centre as well as parents’ continued support played a part in the school’s record A-Level results.
