St George’s School in Harpenden experienced “a day of relief and celebration” with 100 per cent pass rate in students’ A-Level results today (Thursday).
Headmaster Raymond McGovern hailed pupils’ success, particularly as 40 per cent of entries were graded A* or A.
Over 100 subject entries were awarded an A*, which is a record for St George’s.
And 16 pupils achieved more than 900 UCAS points, the equivalent of three A* grades.
