Samuel Ryder Academy is celebrating after students received their results this morning.

Headteacher Matt Gauthier said he is delighted the students hard work has been rewarded with such a splendid set of results.

Pawel Wachel achieved ABB and will be taking up his place at Loughborough University to read mechanical engineering, while Dominika Dziubek was awarded BBBC grades and hopes to now study a degree in tourism management.

Helen Potter, head of sixth form, said: “These results reflect the hard work of the students and staff underpinned by the strong support of our parents.

“We are delighted for our students, the majority of whom have secured places at their first choice universities.”
