IT was a tense morning for pupils at Nicholas Breakspear School in St Albans as they went to pick up their much-anticipated A-level results yesterday.
Staff said they were ”delighted” after the school once again celebrated record AS and A-level results,with an increased percentage of A* to B grades.
Teachers also commented that the results demonstrate the hard work and dedication shown by the students, Mr D Church remarked: “I am delighted to see so many students achieve excellent results and continue the schools successful A-level record. Well done to the students and staff.”
Among the top achievers were Mark Serafinowicz who will be studying aerospace engineering in Brunel University, Paris Daly who will be studying law at London School of Economics and Ewan Selkirk who gained his place at Oxford University to study bio-chemistry.
