THE DELIGHTED headteacher of Roundwood Park school has praised his students for another set of excellent A-level results.

The Harpenden school said it had matched last year’s record performance in terms of points per entry.

Headteacher Alan Henshall said: “My congratulations go to the students and staff for their hard work in bringing about this success. Students of all abilities excelled and should be proud of what they have achieved. Perhaps, more importantly, all of our students leave as well-rounded young adults who are a credit to the school, themselves and their families.”

A large number of Roundwood students achieved three or more A and A* grades.

Emily Lloyd, who achieved two A*s and an A, celebrated with her mum after receiving her results and learning she would be able to get into medical school as she had hoped.
