CASUALTIES are needed for an upcoming emergency services event in Harpenden.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service has organised a live regional exercise at Rothamsted Research on Sunday, June 13, when scores of emergency vehicles will assemble to practice their response procedures.
The event is part of an ongoing programme of exercises to ensure that the Herts emergency services can respond to all manner of incidents and the chosen training sites do not in any way reflect the risk to that particular location.
The firefighters, paramedics and police officers need to practice on live pretend casualties and volunteers need to be in Harpenden for a briefing at 8.45am on the day. To register your interest, get in touch with Ian McKenzie at ian.mckenzie@hertscc.gov.uk
