The “hard work” and “dedication” of pupils at Sir John Lawes has paid off as the school celebrated another year of impressive GCSE results today (August, 23).
Head of year 11, Keith Snaylam, said: “The students have worked incredibly hard and deserve their success. Not only are they dedicated to their studies but they are also a thoroughly nice group of young people.”
Twenty-three students from the school in Harpenden earned nine or more A* and A grades.
Headteacher Claire Robins said: “We are thrilled that our students have done so well and that so many of them will be returning to us for the sixth form. We look forward to their further achievements.”
