Hot on the heels of A Level celebrations last week, students and staff at St Albans High School for Girls were excited by the release of GCSE results today following a set of superb results.
Sixty four per cent of the grades awarded were A*, 90 percent were A*/A, and 98 per cent of grades were at A* - B.
Headteacher, Jenny Brown, credits these excellent results to the dedication and enthusiasm of the girls and the continued support of a team of committed and inspiring teachers.
She said: “These excellent results are a fitting culmination of many years of hard work on the part of girls and teachers. I am thrilled for our girls and look forward to welcoming them into the Sixth Form and all its attendant joys.”
