EASTENDERS star Shane Richie hosted a glamourous charity auction in St Albans, helping them to raise �11,000.
The actor, comedian and presenter who is an ambassador for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, urged over 190 guests at the event last month to dig deep to buy raffle tickets and bid in an auction for prizes, with all proceeds going to the children’s charity.
Prizes were donated by a host of different celebrities including Miranda Hart, Tamzin Outhwaite and Matt Lucas, as well as Brocket Hall Golf Club, Mulberry and The Grove Hotel.
The evening, at OA Sport at Woollams Playing Fields, was organised by Amy Martin, Sarah Green, Beth Featherby, Clare Holder and Sam Brown who are all from Harpenden.
