HERTS Police have released an E-fit image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a burglary in St Albans.

The incident occurred at around 6.45pm on Tuesday February 28, at a house on Cornwall Road.

A burglar forced entry to a window at the back of a house before being disturbed. He then left the scene and got into a silver vehicle, which was being driven by another man. The pair drove off towards London Road.

PC Paul Cullinan from the Local Crime Unit at St Albans police station is investigating and said: “I would like anyone who believes they recognise the person in the E-fit to contact me with information. I would also like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen a silver vehicle before or after the incident.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Cullinan via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
