A DRIVER has been left trapped after their car overturned on the M1 near Redbourn this morning (Monday).
The collision occurred on the northbound carriageway, between Hemel and Redbourn, shortly before 8.50am.
The East of England Ambulance Service is currently at the scene, as is the East Anglian Air Ambulance. The road is shut off whilst emergency services deal with the incident.
Ambulance service spokesman, Gary Sanderson, said: “Paramedics are currently working closely with the critical care team from the helicopter to treat, stabilise and immobilise a casualty, after the car was seen rolling over several times.”
