Driver cut out of car in Bedmond

A WOMAN was left trapped in her car when it overturned and landed in a ditch on Saturday night.

All three emergency services attended the scene of the accident in Bedmond Lane, which happened at around 8pm.

Firefighters used cutting equipment to free the woman of the silver Renault Megane before paramedics took her to hospital with minor injuries.

Police closed the road for a short amount of time while recovery of the vehicle took place.
