Following an appeal for bone marrow donations published by the Herts Advertiser at Christmas, those who wish to donate can do so at a leisure centre this Wednesday (27).
Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre in St Albans is running an event in partnership with stem cell and bone marrow transplant charity Anthony Nolan, asking healthy 16-30 year old to come forwwardand register to donate.
The easy registration takes about 15 minutes and requires participants to ‘spit in a tube’.
